Laboratory for Synthesis and Characterization of Advanced Materials (LSC)

The Laboratory for Synthesis and Characterization of Advanced Materials (LSC) is an annex of the Laboratory of Processes Applied to Water Treatment (LAPRO), supporting its research by providing in-depth structural, morphological, and chemical analysis of materials.

The LSC is responsible for characterizing the physicochemical properties of synthesized materials—such as nanomaterials, adsorbents, catalysts, and composites—ensuring their quality, reproducibility, and performance for environmental and technological applications.

The LSC plays a key role in validating the materials developed within LAPRO's research projects, contributing to the development of innovative and high-efficiency solutions in areas such as water treatment, environmental remediation, and sustainable technologies.
