Founded in 2017, the Lucas Meili Research Group is dedicated to advancing the field of chemical engineering with a focus on separation processes, water and wastewater treatment, and material synthesis. Our core areas of expertise include:

Adsorption: Developing and optimizing adsorbents for a range of applications.
Advanced Oxidation Processes: Innovating methods to enhance water purification.
Biodiesel Production: Advancing techniques for sustainable fuel production.
Fluidization: Exploring the dynamics of fluidized systems.

We are based at the Laboratory of Processes, Center of Technology at the Federal University of Alagoas in Maceió, Brazil. Our research aims to contribute meaningful solutions to environmental and industrial challenges.
